I COULD NOT HAVE DONE WITHOUT YOU

WITHOUT THE HELP OF SALLY MY MENTOR
MY EXAMPLE AND ENCOURAGER SHE HAS REMAINED WITH PAUL MY LEADER
STEADFAST AND COMMITED TO SUPPORTING ME
I KNOW IT IS THEIR JOB BUT IT NEVER SEEMS LIKE IT IS
THEY MAKE ME FEEL LIKE OVER AND ABOVE THEIR JOBS THEY REALLY WANT ME TO
SUCCEED AND WHEN I HAVE WANTED TO GIVE UP AND I DO MANY TIMES A MONTH
SOMETIMES ONCE A WEEK I KNOW I HAVE COME TOO FAR AND I CANT GO BACK WHERE I STARTED
THEY AS WELL AS CHARLEY SUPPORT ME WITH ALL OF YOU
IT IS A JOURNEY AND A LIFESTYLE AND ONE DAY AT A TIME AND ONE BITE AT A TIME WE
WILL ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER AND NOT LOSE OUR FOCUS -

THEN I WAS WATCHING CNN THE OTHER NIGHT AND THERE WAS
TAMMY FAYE 65 POUNDS DYING OF CANCER
AND THINK OF MY MOM WHO WAS 70 POUNDS WHEN SHE PASSED SO IN THOSE TERMS
IT IS A SMALL WHOLE PERSON ******************************************
FOR SURE THE SIZE OF A CHILD SO IT IS PROGRESS
NOW I HAVE TO KEEP ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER AND GET THE ADDITIONAL 100
POUNDS OFF AND THERE WILL BE THE 100 POUNDS *********************************

NON SCALE -SUCCESS

JULY 15/2007 ON RETURN FORM A RELAXING WEEKEND IN VICTORIA
WE GET STUCK ON A 3X3 ELEVATOR ON BC FERRIES
AFTER 20 LONG MINUTES WE GET ASSISTANCE FROM THE STAFF TO GET OUT
THE ONLY WAY OUT WE SEE IS DOWN A SHAFT SMALLER THAN A REGUALR AIR VENT
AND DOWN A 25 PLUS FOOT LADDER
ALL I COULD THINK ABOUT IN THIS TRAUMATIZED SITUATION
IN ALL THE HEAT AND STRESS AND EVERYTHING WAS SURE WAS GLAD THIS WAS
THIS YEAR AND NOT LAST YEAR
55 POUNDS AGO I COULD NEVER HAVE FIT THROUGH THE HOLE

AGAIN SPEAKING THIS WEEK TO A PAIN DR WHO WAS DISCUSSING MY CONCERN ABOUT HAVING HAD TO BE SO IMOBILE THIS LAST YEAR AND HE SAYS BUT IT IS CLEAR THAT YOU ARE NEVER GOING TO GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM
NONE OF US ARE THAT IS THE GREAT PART THIS IS A LIFE STYLE CHANGE
A DIET RATHER THAN A LIFE STYLE CHANGE WOULD HAVE NEVER GUARANTEED I WOULD HAVE FIT THROUGH THAT WHOLE IT IS BECAUSE I PERSIST AND REMAIN DISIPLINED UNDER ANY AND ALL CONDITIONS THE BEST I CAN I TRACK AND I REMAIN FOCUSSED ON MOVING FORWARD
I WILL WALK TO AND FROM WORK AGAIN SOON I CAN TELL
IF I HAD GIVEN UP THIS LAST YEAR WHERE WOULD I BE NOW
I MAY NOT BE EXACTLY WHERE I WANT TO BE

KEEPING ON TRACK

JUST GOING ONE DAY AT A TIME FOLLOWING THE PROGRAM
MY HIP IS BETTER SOME DAYS THAN OTHERS IN TERMS OF MY ABILITY FOR ACTIVITY
OVERALL JUST STICKING WITH IT AND NOT GIVING UP SOMETIMES THAT IS WHAT IT IS ALL
ABOUT -
I HAVE WONDERFUL SUPPORT OF COURSE FROM ALL OF YOU AND HOPING TO GET W/W AT WORK SOON
HAVENT REALLY GOT INTO THE SWING AT MY NEW MEETING FRIDAY AMS AND ALSO IS A LONG WORK DAY FOR ME SO TRY OUT DIFFERENT ONES TOO IS GOOD AS LONG AS I CONTINUE TO MOVE TOWARDS THE DIRECTION I NEED TO AND SLOW AND SURE
SOME PEOPLE MAKING GREAT STRIDES LOSING EVERY WEEK KEEP IT UP YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE WE NEED TO SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER WE CAN DO WHAT I CANT DO ALONE REMEMBER THAT ONE -HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND

THINGS HAVE BEEN SLOW

QUARTER OF A POUND AT A TIME IT SEEMS BETTER THAN A QUARTER POUNDER I GUESS
INCHING MY WAY TO 60 POUNDS YOU WILL ALL KNOW WHEN I GET THERE BELIEVE ME -
ONE DAY AT A TIME FOR SURE
WE WILL ANXIOUSLY AWAIT THIS WEEK FOR MARCIA TO SEND US THE AMAZING 3 POINT CARROT CAKE RECIPE
I MISSED MY MEETING ON FRIDAY AND WENT TO ANOTHE LOCATION JUST TO WEIGH IN ON SATURDAY JUST TO BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR ME THAT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP DOING WHAT I AM DOING -
EVENTUALLY THE RESULTS COME SOMTIMES ALOT OF UPS WITH THE DOWNS AND IT ALL BALANCES OUT IF WE KEEP TRACKING AND KEEP HONEST WITH OUR SELVES
HAVE A GOOD WEEK
THE PREP FOR THE WEEK I THINK IS WORTH THE WORK EVERY DAY I KNOW WHAT I AM GOING TO HAVE FOR MY MEALS THERE IS NO CHASING THE POINTS AFTER THE FACT
MENTAL PREP IS THE KEY
I PREPARE ALL THE SOUPS AND A FEW DINNERS AND GREEXE THEM THEN I KNOW WHAT I AM
WORKING WITH I HAVE AT LEAST 2 DAYS W/W DINNERS FROZEN TO GRAB IN A PINCH SO I AM NEVER STUCK **
HAVE A GOOD WEEK WE NEED ALOT OF EXTRA H20 IN THIS HEAT ********

OK HERE IT IS THE FAMOUS ONE POINT BRAN MUFFINS
RECIPE FROM W/W MEMBER

2CUPS WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
3CUPS WHITE FLOUR
5 tsp BAKING SODA
1 1/2 tsp SALT
1 CUP APPLE SAUCE
1/2 CUP MOLASSES
1 TBSP CINNAMON
1 1/2 CUP WATER
3CUPS BRAN CEREAL
3CUPS BRAN (FLAKES NOT CEREAL)
2 CUPS RAISINS
2 EGGS AND 2 EGG WHITES
4 CUPS 1.5 LITRE BUTTERMILK (1% IF YOU CAN FIND IT )
1.2 TSP CLOVES OR ALLSPICE (OPTIONAL)


MIX DRY INGREDIENTS
BEAT EGGS IN SEPERATE BOWL
MIX WET INGREDIENTS AND BEATEN EGGS
MIX TOGETHER IN LARGE BOWL
LEAVE OVERNIGHT IN THE FRIDGE
COOK AT 400 DEGREES 15-18 MINUTES
FOR REGUALR TINS
COOK 12 MINUTES USING THE MINI TINS
MAKES 5 DOZEN REGUALR SIZED MUFFINS (1 POINT EACH )
OR MINI SIZE 1/2 POINT EACH
